Instructions:
1. Drill a hole at the end of the crack, making sure it’s big enough to allow the aluminum soft soldering to fit through.
2. Feed the aluminum soft soldering through the hole until it’s flush with the back of the radiator.
3. Cut off the excess soldering, leaving about 1/8” sticking out.
4. Using a can of radiator sealer, coat the area around the hole and the back of the radiator. This will help to ensure a tight seal.
5. Allow the sealer to dry for about 30 minutes before proceeding.
6. Solder the hole closed, using a propane torch if necessary.
7. Smooth down the solder with a piece of sandpaper.
Will J-B Weld work on aluminum radiator?
